Astralis rolled over MIBR on Overpass, 16-6, and took a 30-round map, 16-14, on Train, to qualify for the DreamHack Masters Stockholm semi-finals.
Doubles by Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Emil "Magisk" Reif cleared the way for Astralis to take the first round on Overpass, but MIBR quickly replied on the force buy on the back of two ssg08 kills by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo on the offense, turning the tide for the American side who took a 3-1 lead. The two teams then traded rounds, making it 4-2 with MIBR in control of the economic game. The beginning of the map didn’t stabilize as both teams kept trading rounds until Astralis could win two in a row for a 5-5 tie. From there on out, Astralis took control of the half as MIBR struggled to change the pace, closing the half out 10-5.
Doubles by Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen in a 2vs4 pushing on A gave Astralis the second pistol round, breaking MIBR. After winning the two anti-ecos, Astralis played a slow round around B which they were able to crystalize as device mowed down to of the site’s defenders to make it 14-5. Finally, Astralis closed the map out, 16-6.

The second map, Train, started with MIBR taking the pistol round with doubles by the North American duo of Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Tarik "tarik" Celik It was then tarik in the first gun round, with a four-kill round including a 1vs2 afterplant clutch, who was able to extend the lead to 4-0. FalleN & co. kept up the pressure, taking six out of the seven first rounds to create a nice cushion on the attacking side before Astralis took control of the map. As it looked like the Danes were taking control on the CT side, a huge play by tarik with three kills on B to save a defuse in a 2vs4 kept the half even, which ended 8-7 in favor of the Brazilians.
The second pistol round went the way of Astralis, who took a 10-8 lead after the two anti-ecos, but MIBR kept it close after a B retake which ended up in FalleN defusing the bomb as Marcelo "coldzera" David took the last Danish bomb defender, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, out. Having linked a few rounds together, MIBR were able to take the lead, 12-11, further increased after Stewie2K got two double AWP entries and MIBR retook a 3vs5 plant on inner.
Right when MIBR seemed to take control, Astralis once again found themselves in the lead after winning three rounds in a row to make it 14-13. With MIBR struggling economically, the Danes got to match point, and in the last round, up 15-14, won the match as gla1ve killed the last two CTs trying to defuse the bomb on A through a smoke outside of Popdog.
